How do you
IDENTIFY?
Calling
LGBTQIA+
The first in-depth survey identifying the experiences of Rainbow young people and young adults (14 – 26 years inclusive) in Aotearoa New Zealand.
This is a study about identifying what it’s like to be Rainbow (LGBTQIA+ MVPAFF) or a Rainbow ally/friend in Aotearoa New Zealand today. We want to know about what is going well and what needs to change for Rainbow young people and young adults. This is your opportunity to share your experiences, both good and bad, and make your voice count. The survey is a partnership of Rainbow researchers and youth organisations. It is by us and for us and focussed on identifying ways to make the world a better place for our Rainbow whānau.
Your voice matters—the more people who take this survey, the better we’ll be able to understand the wishes and needs of rainbow communities.
Please read the information sheet which explains that you can:
remain anonymous and confidential
skip any question that you do not want to answer or stop the survey at any time
return to an unfinished survey if you use the same device you started it on
provide non-identifying details (e.g., your pet’s name, day of the month you were born, etc.) so we can link to future surveys to find out how things have changed for you
choose to collect merchandise as a small thank you for participating
access a range of support services if anything upsets you now or in the future.
A video is available that discusses the info sheet if you prefer.
